There are four ways to contribute to The Bayou Brief.
As a one-time donor (name your own price), as a monthly individual subscriber, as a member of our Krewe (with a minimum commitment of three years), or as a corporate sponsor.
Your donation supports the critically important work of our journalists, columnists, and photographers.
It ensures we can continue to offer reporting without advertisements and at no charge to our readers, and it helps us continually improve the functionality and technology of our publication.
No matter how much or how often you contribute, you are helping to sustain our work and support fearless and fact-based journalism.
Recurring donors are vital to our success, and we offer two ways to make monthly recurring donations, either as an subscriber or as a member of our Krewe.
Checks can be made to Bayou Brief and sent to 3208 Pine Street | New Orleans, Louisiana | 70125
All subscribers and Krewe members receive our quarterly newsletter and advanced access to our podcast.
Krewe members are people who believe in the public service and importance of a free and independent press. Their support is the reason
The Bayou Brief can pursue investigative reporting, daily coverage of the state Capitol, and long-term investments in research. By making a three-year commitment, Krewe members keep us in the business of journalism and ensure we can deliver our work to readers free of charge and free from advertisements. In addition to the benefits provided to individual monthly subscribers, all Krewe members will receive same-day notifications of new content and public recognition on a section of the website.
Basic subscriptions begin at
$10/month. For $25/month, we offer individual subscribers additional benefits, including two free tickets to our annual festival.
